Flooring
Porcelain tile, luxury vinyl plank, and original terrazzo restoration — specified for Florida, not just for photos.
Flooring takes more abuse in South Florida than almost anywhere else — sand, pool water, humidity, and sun exposure through big glass openings. We specify materials for how a floor actually gets used here: porcelain tile that handles moisture without complaint, luxury vinyl plank where warmth underfoot matters, and engineered hardwood where it's genuinely appropriate.
A number of South Florida homes still have their original terrazzo underneath old carpet or vinyl, and it's often salvageable. Where it makes sense, we restore and polish original terrazzo rather than covering it up again, which is both a better result and typically a better value than full replacement.
Whatever the material, we handle removal, subfloor prep, and installation as one project, with consistent transitions between rooms and out to covered patios.

Flooring Questions, Answered
In many South Florida homes, yes. We assess the existing slab and, where it's salvageable, grind and polish it back to its original condition rather than covering it up.
Porcelain tile and luxury vinyl plank are the most forgiving with humidity and sun exposure; engineered hardwood works well in more climate-controlled interior spaces.
Most whole-home flooring projects take 1–3 weeks depending on square footage and material type.
Flooring typically runs $6 to $18 per square foot installed, depending on material and any subfloor prep required.
